The beauty of this software is, when you click File in the upper left corner you will see a option to CONVERT TO PDF, this means when you are finished doing the layout and spell checking and all those things, you can convert your document into a PDF file which is your basic Ebook file.
File Conversion Note – PDF is a standard format which was developed by Adobe. With the creation of Amazon’s Kindle and Ipad and others you might need to convert your original document into other formats. Most of these places will have instructions to do this or they will already have the software in place to convert it for you – don’t fret, technology is here to save us.
Advisory – If you do a search for FREE EBOOK SOFTWARE you will find more applications to choose from. The caveat with these free system downloads is always security and bugs, you don’t know what you are letting into your system (computer). Just be aware that FREE doesn’t always end up that way. Other times FREE is a limited feature version that leads to a paid option where you get the full optioned version.

Paid software generally comes with more features and added benefits.
If you plan to sell your ebook security becomes an issue. By this we mean some one being able to copy it and pass it around. There are ways to secure it so only the person purchasing your book can read it.
Other things like adding audio and video to your ebook is a nice feature which also adds value, you can increase the price you sell your book for.
Some of the paid versions have an ebook cover creator built into the package, this is a nice feature to have.
